Hello, Bought a 94 Del Sol this past January and love it. Have a recent recurring issue. First experience with problem was this past March with a no start. The headlights were dead, so got a jump and started right up. Than, drove for about 15 minutes to gas station and turned off car to fill up. Again, no lights and no start. Got a quick 30-second jump and started right up. Drove home, took battery out for test at AutoZone. Battery was fine, reinstalled. Again, no start. Next morning, turn key, starts right up and drove to local auto repair shop. They kept car for a week and found nothing wrong.
Del Sol has been starting fine till recently.

Drove Del Sol 100 miles, parked it for an hour, go to start and get just a click. Jump battery, nothing. Had battery checked at AutoZone again and battery is fine. Two days later, go out to car and starts right up. Del Sol has not failed to start since. Need to find fix before happens again.

Checked all fuses and look good.
Battery charged and holding same.
Had distributor cap off and coil looks good, no white dust. Did not check ICM.
Banged on starter when trying to re-start with no success.
Have listened for whine of fuel pump at start-up and unsure as of yet.
Others listening during startup say they hear a multi-click on turn of key while I can only hear one.

Other noted nuances: Check engine light has been coming on once or twice a day during city driving. Have been pulling over, shut down for ten seconds and restart and its gone.
The engine hesitates occasionally dropping 500-1000 rpm for about 2 seconds under any driving condition. Happens about twice a day. Hoping changing fuel filter will fix.

Since buying my Del Sol have replaced: plugs, wires, O2 sensor, oil & filter, Distributor cap (working on rotor) all with OEM equipment.

Any ideas on the no start much appreciated. Thanks
