Default driver wheel housing

Figured this would be the best section to ask. I'm buying a new radiator support and the wheel housing. I'm just wondering if someone could link me to a video or thread of the wheel housing being replaced. Just gives me a peace of mind before doing it for the first time. I'll continue my search in the mean time. thank you

Just to start out, what kind of car are you working with? And what wheel housing are you referring to? Front, rear? I am guessing since you are replacing the radiator/core support, you are doing the front wheel housing/tower.

The more info/pictures you give me the more information I can help you with.

1993 lx 4dr. Front driver side. Drilled out the spot welds but it still hasn't budged. Only other thing I can think of is drilling larger then the weld. Also I can get the parts for free but if its common to be this big of a pain ill have to buy the oe.

Don't you have to pull the motor mount support to get that out?

Yeah I'm also taking it out. the spot welds hold them both on along the side closest to the fire wall. Then theres tabs on the mount that hold it to the wheel housing.

If you know you have all the spot welds drilled, and that the body seam sealer is the only thing left in your way, just hammer and chisel to separate it. It should go. Are you replacing just in front of the tower behind the mount? Or in front of the mount. I'm on my cell phone and I can't see the picture as well as on PC.

that section is one peace. It slightly over laps a bit on the tower lip. The spot welds are drilled out but its still solid. Need to get a bigger bit but been busy with other stuff havent tried it yet.

Just in case anyone is following this nail bitter. I got it out and grind it all down to the frame and what not. Now to just find a wheel house that isn't $85
