improving traction on 94 civic hatch with lsd
so i am about to finish my turbo build. I will be looking at the whp in the high 300's low to mid 400's. traction is going to be an issue, this is a given.. I am just coming to you guys looking to what can be done to improve traction. This is a street car btw and will be driven in the hot, the cold, rain, and shine. I have full race traction bars, am lowered 1.8 inches on skunk2 springs (got the car this way, im not really into slammin cars). the car has lsd. its a 94 eg.
what would you guys suggest to help put the power to the street? tires are a given, but which tires? what about suspension? go back to stock height to fit a bigger tire maybe?
thanks in advance guys

Traction bars. I think you're covered. Are you jumping the gun worrying about something that isn't happening? I mean, are you having traction issues?
you need to run stiffer springs dont run stock. the junk2 springs you have now wont cut it. make sure you have good mounts, not oem. traction bar, for street? just grab some 205 nitto neo gens. or if you really want tires that will give you great grip try for the mickey thompson et street tires
get stiffer suspension, does your traction bar have an engine mount? if it does, it will help a lot. Solid engine mounts,

Nitto Neo gens are good, but for that power level I'm personally a fan of Toyo Proxes R888 for the summer, and Proxes 4 Plus for the winter (if you see unpleasant weather).
You'll definitely need stiffer suspension, though. No way in hell that Junk2 setup is going to prevent wheel hop.

They're an all season tire. There is no such thing as an all season tire that will perform as well as a good summer tire. The R888 is technically a track tire on top of that. The 4+ will work as a summer tire, yes, but it won't work as well as R888s, or Neo Gens (which are also a summer tire)
im making 360whp 255wtq in my coupe and im lowered on skunk2 coilovers, full race traction bar, lsd, innovative mounts and use 195 federals. traction is still an issue. the best advice i can give if you want traction is get a really good set of summer tires if you plan on driving alot. if not get a set of drag radials
i am at 480whp with hankook rs2 (205/50/15). traction is actually pretty good if it is warm out. extreme performance summer tire is the only way for a street tire.
