do you have the washer on that allen plug??? there is supposed to be one...good luck finding one as i have been unable to locate it thru honda. as for torque specs it is 47ft lbs. taken from page 6-55 of my service manual.

From what little I know about LS/VTEC's, they are prone to leak from around that area due to less than ideal alignment of head to block. The work around is to spray the head gasket with some head gasket sealant.

if its leaking from that allen plug at the end of the rocker shaft, that has absolutely nothing to do with lsvtec or block and head alignment. it s a matter of properly torqueing the plug.

 

are you sure it isnt leaking from the cam gear seals?
