1991 integra rs timing
Looking for help. I put new timing belt on and every time I set the cams pointing up,put the belt on rotated counter clockwise two full revolutions then to TDC the up stamp on cams were off to left of center. So after 2 hrs of the same thing happening and not able to get it correct, here I am looking for advice. Thanks to all
There are 2 timing marks on the cam pulleys at 3 and 9 o'clock with the "up" pointing up. They are on both sides of the pulleys. You need to line those up with the top surface of the head.
If your spark plugs are still in, try taking them out. It will make everything easier to turn.
You are loosening and re-tightening the t-belt tensioner bolt before you turn the engine, yes?

I could not find any marks on cams other than the up, and I looked . I leveled them best I could then tightened the tensioner bolt and it runs smooth just feels like it wants to miss and it's not do zippy
