Finally turbo is on...No boost
Finally got my turbo on. Engine is a obd2 B18c1, garret t3/t4 .50 trim with a .48 hot side. BWR Ram horn, Back door precision intercooler, downpipe that shoots straight down at the moment, new precision 39mm wastegate with a FIRE RING and the red and silver spring adding up to 6.9 psi and a dsm bov. DSM 450cc injectors, walbro 255lph hp fuel pump on crome pro.
At idle I'm around 27-30 in hg, but I cant go into boost. Did a little light driving around the block because I'm on a basemap at the moment and tuning in the dark with the laptop is making me blind so I'm in the garage revving the engine and yes, I have no boost. Wastegate is connected to the barb on the compressor housing, bov is T'd off with the boost gauge and the 3/8" vacuum connector on the IM. I can hear the turbo spooling.
-I checked the charge pipes by trying to pull them apart, no bueno.
-Disconnecting the fitting on the turbo, revving engine, doesnt seem to have pressure
-Gaskets are present on downpipe, block and between the turbo and the manifold.
Any Ideas to help me get into boost?

You won't go into positive pressure revving it, as you're not creating enough vacuum and load at idle. That doesn't mean anything's wrong, (necessarily) but don't try to use that revving as a measuring stick.
As stated, check ALL the connections, drive slowly, and get to the dyno (or at least to a tuner) as best you can.

You won't make positive pressure just revving it. Turbo is too big and you aren't putting a big enough load on it. Only way it will make boost is to actually drive it.
Cover the inlet of the turbo with either your hand or a rubber coupler, check for any leaks. If your bov is closed the motor should die if not and you hear a leak, that's where your boost is going.
-turbohatch you *** hole i almost got my palm sucked into the turbine. engine died lol.
-you guys are correct, i was a bit timid about getting into boost. Boost awesome now. No traction from 4k rpms first gear to third.
-made a basemap off of my n/a tune going with xenocrons .75 degree ignition retard per lb of boost and 180% fuel multiplier. Tweeked it a bit and I'm doing low 12's at 9 psi.

haha I guess I learned my lesson there. thanks for the warning though fuuuckkk. Oh wait thats what I yelled in my mind when I couldn't remove my hand...(rolls eyes)
Meh, its good now. Did a street tune, took me maybe two hours.
Virtual dyno'd at the moment, I'll throw it on a real dyno eventually.
