Just finished my swap and my turbo was doing fine on my other swap and after I started it the first few times on this one, but today it wasn't building boost and made a very loud clicking noise do I put my hand up were the air inlet is and it was pushing air out like a fan
As when it wasnt doing that it would click between the changes
Turbo isn't burning any oil
It is eBay but what would case this
Wastegate is closed and so is blow off valve
Has no in and out shaft play but barely any up and down
Any ideas??? Not getting past -3psi was getting to 7 psi at 4000rpm

 

 

Bearings are bad and the wheels are hitting the housings. Grab the compressor wheel and wiggle it. It willpwill probably move a lot more than it's supposed to.
