high piched scraping sound, help me out
ok so I was in the middle of a 600 mi. drive and all of a sudden I hear that noise, sounds like the turbo wheels (hot or cold side.. idk) are touching the housings or something.. But ZERO shaft play when I checked it.. Any ideas?
1 only happens when all the way warmed up
2 only happens at higher rpm (above 3500)

My turbo did the same thing, 0 shaft play and a high pitch squeal noise every now and then. Then the turbo just kinda froze up and wouldnt make boost. Time for a rebuild.
