1995 integra se
went to change the battery of the car and the car just wont start anymore.
the cars getting power, the alarm did this before but i got it to work some how. im pretty sure the alarm engaged the ignition kill and it wont disengage. the problem is the alarm wont work anymore, the remote doesnt work and i tried everything. disconnected fuses, disconnected and reconnected the brain and nothing happened. when i push start the car it works. its an older clifford alarm. the alarm is getting power but it just wont work....

There should be a momentary switch somewhere under the dash. Try holding that down while you switch the key into on position. Do not release the switch for as long as 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, just go under the dash and reconnect the starter wire. It's the big black wire with white stripe coming from your ignition switch to the fuse box. Use a crimp butt connector or solder or both.

so i checked it out, i see what black and white wire you are talking about. took a multi meter to the ignition and all the wires read 12v except the black and white one, BUT when i use the multimeter on the plug to where the ignition wire is coming from im not getting 12v...is this normal??? dont wanna have to cut any wires unless i have to
Just to be clear: your car does not crank, correct? When you turn the key nothing happens.
The black/white wire is the starter signal wire. It will only see 12v when in cranking position with the key, and only on the wire coming from the ignition switch. With the key in crank or start position, you should see 12v coming from the switch.
This is the wire that is cut and spliced into your alarm, yes? If so, cut it out of the alarm harness and reconnect it. Try to cut as little as the black/white wire off as you can so that it isn't too short. You may need to extend it due to the cutting and splicing.
Hope that helps.
