Default NLR ams-1000 or aem series2 for boost contoll

i have been running a v1 aem box for quite a few years now. when it works i love it... lucky for me it works most the time but boost control for me has been a nightmare.

real question for the guys going pretty fast, mid 9s faster where i want to be where the car could be if i could put the power down.

are the guys on s2 using the aem to controll boost, does it actually work? or if given the 1000 dollars for the boost controller ams-1000 and keep the s1.

1000 dollars boost controller or v2 box that can do what the ams does?

AMS is a excellent boost controller solution, especially if you are looking to use co2. You'll get more for your $1000+ with the AEM Series 2. Series 2 has many features that the v1 doesn't have. Advanced features of the boost control and enabling traction control are excellent. Just needs a little tweaking to get everything to work together. Setting up a rear vss and using the traction control feature with boost by vss is the way to go.

I'm in the same boat as well. trying to figure out if i should go with the nlr or get rid of kpro and go aem s2. my boost control has always been my problem i tried the msd 7562 and really don't like it. too much to mess with before making a pass.

Im on nlr together with neptune before. I really like the flexability of it.

Now im on s2 still on nlr since it worked so well before we didnt took it off.

Will be dialing it soon together with the traction control/advance limiters of s2.

So then you will not like the AMS 1000. I have an AMS 1000 best boost controller that I have ever used hands down. Very easy to use and accurate to target boost. Anyone that says they don't like its because try do not know how to use it.
