Setup - 94 ex coupe, d16z6, i/h/e, zex plugs, & NX efi stage 1 50 shot

Temp - 50's and 60's outside

Problem - I just got my bottle filled. When I spray it feels like a normal run for maybe a second, then the car bogs, and I can feel the front end dip down. What could be the problem? Detonation, too much fuel, clogged lines, no pressure?

Oh, and everything seems to be running fine when I'm accelerating and not spraying.

Is your bottle pressure over 900psi?? It sould be around that area..

 

Haven't got my gauge hooked up yet, waiting on a "y" line. Do you think that's what it is though? Would it be real low around 50 degrees outside and cause my car to do that?

i'm by no means an n2o genius but i do know about chemistry and pressure related to temperature. It sounds like the bottle pressure is too low but has enough to get the first bit of n2o in your engine. Then as you keep spraying the temperature of the bottle drops (thats just what happens to all sorts of things like propane bottles, and CO2 paintball or bb gun canisters) and so does the pressure. The pressure may be dropping past the point to where its effective. Get your pressure gauge installed and check that out.

i suggest getting a "purge kit" this removes the gaseos nitrous from the lines and makes sure the lines are filled with liquid nitrous. keeps your times consistant presuming you're an OK driver
