z6 EF build, whats the best for build????
Hey everyone, Im still new to a lot of this but I have a 90 ef and swapped a z6 in it. Now during winter I want to build the z6 and boost it. So just looking for what is budget best I guess the way to say it. I want quality and willing to spend for some of it but just remember it will be my street car, summer car not track (I will bring to track on occasion but 80% of the time will be my summer car) so im not trying to dump 60,000+ into it. What are best internals from oil pan up? Ive heard of vitaras and stuff like that. Any help would be appreciated. thanks. my goal is for 300 whp, maybe more but just shooting for 300 and my z6 able to handle it.

Got pics of the Z6? The mounts are designed differently than the A6 and would love to see what you've done.
You could honestly piece together a turbo set for $400-600 depending on what you find through the junk yards and various lowballing on kijiji.ca.
Although you'll need a tune which is another $300-600.
A stock Z6 handles 200whp. Why would you need more? If you really want 300 whp ad an extra $1000-2000 depending on several factors (new/used product, doing it yourself/shop done)
anyways send me some info on the z6 swap plz

z6 swap was pretty simple. but i already had obd0 to 0bd1 conversion harness. ef was boosted on a zc block a6 head when i bought it but the that setup was toast. smoked every moment it ran. and i used a crx si wiring harness after i swapped motor. i'll put up pics and tell more tomorrow. i had over 170 whp and it wasnt enough so i want about double. which i know is decently simple with boost and tune but i want my z6 to not blow up or turn into the zc/a6 i pulled out which was all stock.

Here you go

O ya and about mount. Ya they are different. I took my old one from zc and ground it down to the same shape as z6 one then sprayed it with some of that rust paint to prevent or minimize rust.

What's anyone's take on a garret 18g? From what I understand it will give me just under 400 hp. Which if so is fine because then I can reach my 300 goal and if I want more i can adjust. Any info is associated. Thanks everyone.
