what is the best mod youve done to the Z6?
im swapping a Z6 into my EF hatch this week and my future plans are to turbo the car... i was just wondering what modfications the Z6 responds to the best... not looking for top end power only... want some low end grunt as well... when i put it in i will soon after be purchasing a vafc and would like to know what is the best engine speed to engage vtec... i know you dont want to go extremly low but what are some effects of lowering the engagment point? thanks a lot guys

Well thats cool....I've got a buddy that made some nice gains with a JRSC kit on a z6. PM MrNicholas, he should be able to help you out.

IMO, the best bang for the buck mod on a Z6 would be a nice turbo setup. i spent about $2000 peicing my own custom kit. it can be done for alot cheaper but i opted to go for all brand new parts, piping, oil lines, etc. i'm also running hondata so thats already 1/4th of the cost right there. i'm tuned making 200whp and dollar-for-dollar, i dont think any swapped Civic can touch me. but i do plan to go DOHC VTEC in the future because i get bored with stuff easily. good luck to you.

Re: (fracas)
My best mod: Blew mine up and put a B16.
No, seriously if you want a good Z6, without worrying about money:
D15Z1 block
P29 ZC/D16A1 pistons
P+P head w/ 3 angle
Zex cam, valvetrain (personally I'd go for the biggest cam avail)
Any 4-1 header
Performer X intake mani
AEM CAI with K&N
ACT streetlite flywheel
St 2 clutch
