Overheating problem

Icon6 Overheating problem

I have an auto. Civic overheating when stop got new radiator and fan thermostat Reservior after my fan completely melted from heat ..after all that replaced problem continued with plugs being seized in chamber got them all out replaced plugs and wires and ignition coil .. Now my car seems to have lost a lot of power in take off and still overheats when stop and the resivour overflows any suggestions where to go next

new headgasket, have the head checked as well and check for cracks in the block

Is your fan kicking on? Have you replaced the thermostat? Are you low on coolant?

Yes fan kicks in .. I have new thermostat.. A mechanic told me to run it without it should I ?????

leak down test. Dude if you melted your fan and seized your plugs its a VERY good chance your head is toast.

Check the oil cap, how does it look? Milky?
When it's hot, does the lower hose feel hot too?

So do u mean the whole head or just the head gasket is shot ... Im gonna run a compression test

I had a similar problem and mine turned out to be my head gasket was toast. So my car would over heat constantly and my reservoir tank would get full to the top sometimes.

Remove the head, and inspect that and block. It will need to be checked for warpage. Honestly I think if you got the car that hot it's going to need a replacement motor.
