Default My wheel dilemma

Ok so i'm a noob i'll admit it. I am trying to learn/estimate what the best wheel option for my 95 EG dx will be. So here's what I'm looking for an need help with.

I currently am sittin on steelies and am looking for a set of 15" maybe 16" wheels. I DO NOT WANT low profile wheels, stretched wheels, or stanced anything. I DO NOT HAVE the option of lowering my car as i live on an unpaved road and any lower i would have major issues. I DO WANT the new wheels to be as close to flush with the plane of the fender as possible as i hate the way my current 5.5" wide wheels seem to suck in.

So the dilemma is: What offset can i run that won't cause rubbing or require fender rolling? What width, accompanied with offset, will provide the "flushness" im looking for? And lastly seeing as I'm not looking for a stanced or lowered set up, should I go for the 15 with a beefier tire vs. a 16 with a thinner tire?

I know its alot haha and any other threads/sites where i can learn and or see others set ups that i could learn from would be GREATLY appreciated!

so you dont want anything stanced, but you want to sit flush????

what do you want?

you can run anything under 16s with a 7 width, no problem, no flaring; offset 45-40... on 205/40 or 205/50.. its not going to be near fender.

once again, what do you want? stanced/flush imo are kinda same thing

16x7" wheel with a +37mm offset mated with a 195/45/16 tire.

You can run this setup with 0 camber and still be low enough (when you decide to) and not have rubbing issues or do any fender work.

I'm not sure what the HT definition of "flush" is haha. I know stanced and hellaflush and all that and thats not what i'm after. I just want to know what width of wheel and tire setup will be "flush" or even sticking out farther than the fender. I was debating a wide wide wheel that poked out and getting flares to make those wheels "even" or whatever you want to call it.

another example of what i dont want see how the tire could be fatter and be more flush with the outside of the fender?

Just go with a generic wheel size 15x7 +35 and some 205/50's and get some lowering springs and it'll close up.

my buddy had a 95 hatch with 15x7 rota track r's with 195/55/15 tires. this is how they looked. it was lowered, but still tall enough to avoid ground clearance issues and it looked mean i think. could even run a 50 series.
