Default Boosted gsr logs out of s300 data logging while tuning

I had my boosted gsr eg tuned a while back and was only able to put down about 330 whp at around 8500 rpm (cant remember exact) because the s300 would quit out of data logging when rpms were high. I have proper grounds and ngk bkr6e plugs. Ngk spark plug wires with stock dizzy. The wire harmess is tucked and some extended wires. Battery is relocated to truck. What could possible cause so much interference.

Does this happen only during high rpm? Make sure you have the latest USB drivers.

Replied to your thread in the efi forum.

Make sure you are using the usb cable with the nanofarad (bulg in the cable).
Make sure your engine/tranny ground is good.
Try another laptop too.

He is saying the laptop doesn't stay connected to the ecu during a pass.
I do not believe he tried onboard logging.

Plugs.

Non resistor are the devil to S300: Because the S300 is garbage and very susceptible to RF noise due to its poor layout.

Juts dealt with ANOTHER ONE today. Resister plugs money, non resistor plugs = doo doo brown.

HAve fun buying irridiums and using them since they are thge only way to get a NGK plugin resistor above a 7

If im wrong please come back and tell me I dont know ****, but I dont think you will :O)

I took it to get tuned so im not the one actually tuning it. So as far as a different laptop goes, they use the same one all the time. Arnt the ngk bkr6e resistor type? Engine and tranny both have good grounds.

Is the laptop just running on battery, or using an inverter or something like that? I have issues when I plug a 12/ 120 inverter in while logging.

Irrelevant to your problem but I think you need to get 7 heat range and not 6.
