Default Driveline Vibration 2003 Pilot

Just got an 03 Pilot with 152000 Km 95000Mi. .

Drove about 15KM after purchase and a Serious vibration ocurred felt like rear half shaft or drive shaft. Stopped at roadside ,could'nt see any loose bits. Drove off again and no vibration! Went back to used car place and of course the problem would not re-occur. They are going to look for a problem but I'm
not sure they believe me.Service record show regular maintenance by a Honda dealer. Is there a common "problem" with the Pilot? If they can't find a problem, where should I look? Thanks for any and all help

The pilot and MDX etc, have a bearing issue that occurs often. This could be the cause of your sporadic vibration. Give us a call and one of our automatic specialists can help you diagnose.

might be the vtm rear differential, check service records on oil changes, these will vibrate when oil is in need of change, if you are lucky you will have caught it in time before damage occurs.
