Possible CV problem: Plz help!
Well, after doing some research ive come to the conclusion that the problem im having matches the symptoms of a bad cv joint...
heres the thing.
there isnt any visable wear on the boots... theres no axle grease or anything to be found.... could it be the intermediate shaft?? there is what looks to be motor oil dripping from the bearing or whatever it is on the intermediate shaft, but my oil pan gasket could just be a pos.
the click doesnt happen too often, so i think ive discovered it early..
if it makes a diff (probably) i was in an accident where the front end took a knock, but had no visable damage when i went into a ditch.
the car is a 00 sir (canada)
thanks much in advance for your help guys..
ive searched too.... for hours

What kind of click, just occasional? Or steady when making a turn?
You say there is an oil of somesort by the int. shaft- is coming from where the shaft meets the tranny casing, or just on the shaft by the pan?
