anyone running liberty dog box using stock housing? does it work? does it fit or does it need modification? Thanks in advance

 

im wondering same thing? you having stock gearbox issues at your powerlevel?

 

It does work but will most likely crack the housing where the throwbearing rides due to the load..

 

I broke 2 welded stock cases and they where brand new right from honda so they where never stressed or loaded from a gear set, I would go with the billet bell housing and just avoid all the issues. and this was at the 500whp level btw

 

just fork out the 1800(?) and be done with it. I have had my liberty dogbox for a long time and I am happy with it! Mines has over 90 hits on it and i did a mod for pinion shaft, becuase stock bearing was digging into my pinion........I haven't took mine apart yet so i can't sell the mod just yet. Very easy to rebuild and parts don't take months to get or cost an arm,leg,and peepee......lol

 

I have a liberty with a stock case, trans has 20 hits no problems, only mods made were welded supports by the throw out bearing.

 

i want to fill a stock tranny housing with moroso block filler. when i get a dogbox its what im going to do. i swear by this **** got some stuck on my porch its 10times harder than the concrete its stuck too. just a thought.

Ive ran a welded case for 2 years, no issues on 24.5"......going to a 26" is where you'll run into big issues with a stock bell housing. Ive had the braces start to hairline crack on the case and we reweld them. IT works, but its not forever.

What happened?

 

Sold him my B- series fluidampr and right after he recieved it he filed a dispute with Paypal for unauthorized use of his account. I supplied all the info to Paypal and the only reason they sided with him was because there was no signature although the tracking # shows confirmed delivery to his address and I have the text messages where he states he recieved it. I put this guy on blast a while back when he was posting about his great success at an IFO event,he said he had my number and that he would call me....I'm still waiting for that call.

 

im about to setup an account JUST for paypal so that when i sell something i take that money and transfer it directly out of the paypal bank account into mine so that **** cant happen!

 

Didn't he steal a wing or something from someone on here too?

 

Doesnt really work that way, i sold my rolex to a guy and it got charged back due to a not authorised purchase on a paypal account that the guy stole, i had the money already transfered to a bank account. they just hit you with a negative balance and if you refuse to pay like i do beause i followed there policies they will call you 5 times a day trying to collect a debt. then if you ever try to setup another paypal if any info is linked to that old account they lock all the accounts and if you have any money in the new accounts they take that also. paypal can suck a fat one!!

 

Sightly wrong buddy!!! I sent two payments by mistake to the his email...Paypal told me that you cashed in both payments...Sent them verification of the price we agreed upon...I'm not scamming you !

Did you coincidentally forget that the first payment you sent was to the wrong email address? I bet you don't remember the screen shot that you sent me of the Paypal payment where I told you the email was wrong either...So now that you're story has changed let's make this clear, you said you sent 2 payments to my email where I have proof of you sending the first payment to an email that doesn't belong to me. Would you be willing to MAN UP and return my money to me if I can provide proof of that on here??

 

sounds like a reasonable request to me... however if he can prove that he did pay, i hope you have an appetite, because theres gonna be alot of humble pie to eat... btw, i HATE a theif... especially one that screws a fellow enthusist, we work to damn hard for the money we **** away on hobbies to get scammed... i hope everyone does the right thing...

I wouldn't come here and bash someone without reason. I have sold and purchased from quite a few people on this forum and this is the only a$$hole that has done me dirty. It's funny that there are others that have been scammed by this guy as well....cotorres,where you at "buddy"?

 

no liberty gears here but yeah I broke a inner case for the first time along with a final drive gear....might go with the block filler deal I just read......
