Hey guys I just finished the swap and I cant get my ******* shift linkage routed correctly! The car runs great, but wont shift right at all. Just waiting on this last stupid thing before I can get her back on the road! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully someone has some good pictures of the way their's is setup.

Last time some had a question like this i found pics on google in less than 30sec. Try it, it works

 

Yea ive found pics as well but they arent pics of the routing in the engine bay, they are just pics of the shifter itself or pics of the cables right under the shifter. This is really frustrating...

 

Ok well long story short i drilled holes between firewall and shifter (just infront of shifter and center console) and run under car and used some "wire" holders i found at grainger (prob can be had else were too) <<< kinda like a throttle cable holder (not one on mani) and attached to bottom of car and conmected to trans. Done deal

 

sweet man thanks. Ive got everything routed good now I just need those damn metal clips that hold the cables to the tranny. Thanks a ton btw

 

What fuel pump are you running? I think part of my problem is Im not getting enough fuel all the time....

 

Im running the stock pump for now and it runs fine. What check engine codes do you have?

 

Yes stock civic pump is more than ample had one in mine never had problem, 100% stock civic fuel supply other than h22 fuel rail/inj


Op, np just so tou know 99% of time they never "feel" right. My h22 eg was my first honda so i had no "feel" for a b series or sohc linkage-- prob helped in small way i never felt a true linkage first

 

Haha yea it def doesnt feel as good as some good ole' rod shift linkage :/
