What is the little felt piece that rides on the inner door window of a civic hatch ca
In my '99 civic hatch, the little strip of felt that goes along the top of the door panel and against the window is deteriorating and leaving thick streaks of adhesive goo all over the inside ofthe window and damaging the tint. I have no idea what its called so I can order a replacement and fix it. Any ideas? Ive tried googling every descriptive word but nothing comes up.

Im having this same EXACT problem on both windows.
Anyone run into this prob? Is my knly option to by new weather strip?

i removed the whole strip from my 96 hatchback..they broke off when i was inspecting the door window..remove the whole strip and now the window go up and down much easier...

If it rains a lot where you are, get new ones.
They aren't hard to install, just take apart the door panel and attach a new one.
The outer ones are bitches though.
