If so, any tips or advice you recommend I follow? I'm thinking about wiring up an OEM-styled glovebox light, as my 93 DX doesn't have one. Running a power wire from the dash harness would be easy. I've been brainstorming, trying to think of ways to modify the latch mechanism or door so it grounds the circuit when open. Ideas?

Maybe pull the switch out of an Integra and try to use that?

I put one in my EM2. Easiest thing to do is tap the cigarette lighter wire for power. The ground for the cig lighter should be in that area too. I used a simple button switch, just like your door switch. Made it a little harder to close but, was not very noticeable.

wire in a switch that is off when pressed and mount that somewhere that it gets pressed when the glovebox is closed, or use that light that was linked above

Yea, I just picked up a button switch from an Integra. I cut the button end off and I'm going to place it where the rubber door-stopper touches the vinyl plate that's part of the dash. It'll require a small amount of work with a dremel, but that's about it.

The light part of the switch will go behind the glove box.

I'm debating whether to simply JB Weld the thing on, or try to screw it in properly. I'll probably end up screwing it in... I'm notorious for taking the long way around the world just to do something the right way.
