a few 10mm bolts on the oil pan and the cover between the tranny and oil pan. then it should come right off.

Yes you do have to take off your manifold and downpipe, I am not sure if you MUST do this, but it gives you WAY more room, and its not that hard to take it off, I changed my gasket in about 2 hours or so.

I have to do the same thing with my CRX but it has a B16 so I know it's gonna be more of a bitch...

I changed my oil pan gasket when I did my MPFI swap. You don't have to take off the exhaust manifold or the downpipe. However, if you do take it off, then there will be more room for you to remove the bolts near the downpipe. One thing that you do have to take off is the shim guard for the flywheel. Be careful when you remove this, because you can get oil on the flywheel.

Other than that, it was pretty straight forward. Word of advice...get a MANUAL !

You'll be FUCT if you can't remember where everything goes.

if you are running the stock header from the B16, just unbolt the downpipe. then you have access to the oil pan. if you have a header, then it looks like you need to drop your front crossmember, disconnect the radius arms that go to the control arms, then undo the header, finally reaching the oil pan. cheers.
