hi all. so ive been looking arounf for info and iam really confused, so can someone clear thinggs up for me.

i currently have a 98 civic hatch with a d16y7 in it, and can get my hands on a delsol with b16a3 in it. so my question whats my full lst of needed parts????? do i need axles? a b series shift linkage? out of what car can i use?

so far i got:

mounts including t bracket (can i use del sol one in ek?)
p28 ecu - chipped
obd1 to obd2 conversion harness.

that was great thanks soooo muh help. ok so since i cant stand wring is ther any way out or around doing all the engine harness mods and stuff? i ant run different wiring harness that will work in the ek and b16a3?

 

You can use a 96-98 EX harness and eliminate some of it (IACV is two wire, has VTEC and knock wiring). You Won't need to wire up the second 02 or bypass the CKF with the P28 ECU. You can use the A3s injectors by following the blue connector removal instructions in that link. The alternator won't plug up but you may be able to swap voltage regulators over or solder the plug from an OBD1 to your harness. Distributor will also need to be adapted or find an OBD2 b series VTEC distributor.

 

this is brutal! wiring just makes my head spin, im sure its easier then it sounds but still wow i need like a perfect DIY that i can dummy follow
