ive checked all over the place and i cant find where its coming from but its a loud air sound. i mean louder then the engine. i have prefect vac and no hesitation and boost is solid at 7 pounds. im so lost

 

is it only under boost? turbos get loud and sound like a giant air leak/vacuum cleaner.

if you aren't having any trouble with boost issues (lower than 7) or crappy vacuum/idle then that's probably what you're hearing

 

No its at idle, and when I shut the car off I can hear the noise fade and the engine stops moving. I know the difference between turbo spool and this noise.

I've tried spraying carb cleaner around the area of the noise and nothing changes. Steady vac/boost good fuel pressure no hesitation but a horrible noise

have you checked your blow off valve? if its adjusted too loose they stay open at idle and make a hissing/suction noise

 

Yes I've checked it. The noise is coming from the drive side of the enigne bay. Around the drives side of the fuel rail/fuel pressure regulator

 

brake booster?

 

It very well could be but idk how to check it
