Default out with the old in with the new

So today started out bad as hell found out my rear main seal is shot, the burnt valve is worse and clutch is going fast. Well called around to price repairs and wasn't enjoyin the prices I was hearing. So now knowing this motor is bout gone I went and ordered a H23A Vtec to replace the H23A1thats in it. So for now I have to creep the car till the new motor arrives and gets dropped in. My poor prelude.

Ouch. Yeah, I have a bad rear main seal, which caused my clutch to go out really quick. Feel your pain. I wouldn't drive it any more, if you can do that. Could just sell your old engine and make a little of the price back on the JDM H23A. Where are you getting the engine from?

Yeah, I can totally understand that feeling. I've had to replace a lot of stuff on my car about $1500 and only drove it like 600 miles since buying it.

Everything posted says H23A, which would be the VTEC engine.

OP, do you have an ecu and header lined up, as those will be different from the H23A1 to the H23A, if that is what you are doing.

They make an H23a engine that is not vtec, but as long as you know u order the vtec, shouldn't be a problem.

Alright just to clear it up my name comes from the fact my car has a H23A1, but I ordered a H23A to replace it
