CEL stays Solid when jumpped
Is there anything wrong? I mean if its running perfect no codes and you get a solid cel, I'd just keep a spare ecu if anything happened and call it a day.
Wrong..... A solid CEL with the SCS connector jumped means that there are no stored codes on the ECU. A code 0 or no CEL flashes with the SCS connector shorted is the code for a bad ECU......and a solid CEL without the connector shorted means that there is an issue with one of the PGM-FI systems on the ECU and it is running in backup mode (limp mode).

when i park the car, turn it off, and jump the ecu, turn the key two clicks and the light starts dim then gets bright and doesnt blink
Sorry to revive an old thread but, I see youre online atm, Ghost Accord. I just chipped a p28 for my obd2 prelude with a Phearable chip kit and am getting a solid cel but when I plug in a stock p28, it will allow the cel to flash
What is the stock P28 showing for codes?
A solid CEL with a chipped ECU could be a number of things. Bad solder, improper EPROM. You should be able to get the same flashes from a chipped ECU.
Do you have any tuning gear, ie a laptop and Datalogging cable or know anyone who does?
