Default 96 accord 95 h22... advice needed

I have a 1996 accord lx... my swap is a jdm 95 h22a. I have bought the skunk2 obd adapter... can u guys clear up some questions i have? Which distributor am I to use? how is the header gonna link up to my stock cat? How do I wire up the vtec? Which wiring harness am I to use? Any other unforseen problems u think I might have let me know.

curious why would you buy a 200something dollar adapter when you can get a whole distributor on ebay for like 50 bucks? im no expert on the subject, but i know me and i'd rather have a 'real' OBDII engine

obdiii motors make the same amount of power has a obdii motor, which makes the same amount of hp as a obdi motor, which makes as much power as a obd0 motor.

all the motors are basically the same, the obd factor doesnt deal with the motors output
Your right he needed an obd conversion harness so that he can use an obd1 ecu in an obd2 car. You keep everything obd2 and just plug in the harness and run obd1 ecu. I know i sell them (a lot cheaper though)

don't get caught with the 95 motor. it is illegal to install a motor that is older than your car. you need to a 96+ or newer motor to be legal, just letting you know.

Add the VTEC soleniod wire pin A4 on ecu.
VTEC pressure switch to ecu pin D6 lt's lt blu on prelude harness and blk red to ground.
you have to add IAB sensor pink on prelude harness to pin A17 and blk yel to 12v. Add KNOCK sensor red blu on prelude harness to pin D3 on ecu .
ALL THE OTHER SENSORS just LENGTHEN--IAT--MAP--EGR--HO2-IAC ECT. Use the accord harness
use accord ps pump ac com and bracket
GET WIRING DIAGRAMS FOR BOTH AND DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just got done my swap on my 96.

love2sleep... I would def be interested in buying that adapter.... If any of you guys have done the swap if its cool I would like for my guy that is doing the swap to call you and go over a few things... I dont know **** about swapping motors. I am gonna help (probably do more watching than helping) my buddy do the swap... so that I'm not one of those dumbfucks that dont know **** about the stuff done to their cars. My buddy (john) is a mechanic at infinity... he has done b series swaps in his crx and 96 civic. He has helped with about 6 other swaps, none of which were h22a's. So he has much much honda knowledge, I just need someone to give him a briefing of what he is in for... people say its the easiest swap... so I am sure it wont be a problem... but if we know what to prepare for it will be all the easier. Thanks for the help guys. PM me if you can help me out
