Holset HE351 on b18b1 motor questions
I had a few questions about the Holset HE351
found on for cheap thats in good condition. but im only running a stock b18b1 block right now. is this turbo going to be to big for 300-350 whp range?
i know theres going to be boost lag with it,
and it will probably make a steeper power curve than some of the smaller turbos, but can the tuner work it out for a smoother power band?
any big issues with this big of a turbo?
i read the FAQ about bigger turbos and smaller turbos. but just wanted some insight from personal experience.
car is a 92 eg hatch daily driven
already have a 38mm turbonetics waste gate, and a synapse synchronic bov that will be ran with it,
also tune on s300

Buddy just put one on a stock LS, Power came on strong all the way to redline. needless to say, Ill let the pics do the talking.

haha oh damn thats some crazy mess! ya i got my gsr forge build in progress. this set up is only gonna be running for 3 months until i finish the motor. heres mine
