Any theories on why they are doing that & what it means?

Edit: Okay, I may need to specify a little better. The brakes do work, but not smoothly. It's not as noticeable when I use them very lightly, but when I push down on the brake even moderately, the right side tends to shake. It's kinda bugging me & makes me think that they are trying to wear out.

Have you checked if you're rotors are warped?

They don't appear to be warped, from what I can see. No grooves, nothing bent or banged.

If your car has compliance bushings on the lower control arm, check those. Not sure if your body style has them or not.

I know the body style right after yours has constant problems with them, just like the TSX does.

I replaced my pad/rotor setup 3+ times on my TSX due to "warped rotor" feedback through the car/steering wheel/brake pad when slowing down.

Finally replaced my lower control arm compliance bushings (which are a joke, wear out in like 20k miles....kind of like the older civics had the rear trailing arm bushings premature wear), and problem GONE! Wish I wouldn't have spent all that time and money on the brakes before checking the compliance bushings.

It also cured my high speed twitching/straight line tracking problem!
