Can somebody tell me if my vtec wires are already in the shock tower.
I do have a 92 Honda Civic CX Hatch and was told different things by
different ppl. So I took and pic and can someone just let me know if its there

i cant see from the pics but if your car is a 92 then the wire should be there.. all you have to do is match up the color wires you are looking for in the oem and plug and make sure they are running into the car.. i lost the link w/ the color codes but if your doing the swap you should have it printed outsomewhere.. i think vtec oil pressure is blue, and then a ground wire black (you may need to ground this) and then one more wire.. good luck
.. i lost the link w/ the color codes
The VTEC solenoid on the B18C will have a Green/White wire coming out of it. On the DC2 chassis it would have plugged into a connector on the shock tower and the color would have changed to Green/Yellow from the shock tower down to the ecu. In the EG6 chassis it will have an Orange/White wire from the shock tower down to the ecu. However the VTEC solenoind wire is Green/White coming out of the solenoid and plugs into a connector on the distributor. From the distributor to the shock tower on stock motored EG6's the color changes to Green/Yellow then it is Orange/White from the shocktower to the ecu.
On the B18C motor the oil pressure switch is going to have a Blue/Black and a Black wire coming out of the switch. The Black wire gets grounded and the Blue/Black wire stays the same color all the way back to the ECU. On the EG6 the oil pressure switch has the same color wires coming out of the sensor but at the shock tower connector the Blue/Black wire turns into an Orange/Blue wire.

92 was the only year that all civics came wired for vtec from the factory.. they are in the shock tower and go down to the ecu i think..

correct, and from there on you had to have VX, SI, or EX...
