Default Freelog and data logging the stock ecu

I've seen some options in the Freelog where it should be able to read the output from a non-chipped ECU. Is this true? Because last night i tried reading some of the data and got nothing. I was wondering if the Baud was to high.. Jp12 has been left alone. (Not Cut)

I don't know if Freelog actually supports the stock protocol, but it should be 9600 baud.

i'll give it a shot when i get home. I don't have all my programming stuff from years back. My car's temp is kind of wacky and i need the true temp from the ecu. I think the gauge cluster's h2o temp is off. So this is the only solution i could come up with. Datalog and get a much accurate temp.
