Default De-socketing an ECU

How do you remove or disable a socketed ecu so it runs like stock again? Can you just un-solder it and it will run stock again?

Just put the original chip back in the socket, if it was saved, or burn one from an original .bin. I have a bunch of stock ecu .bins if you can't find what you need.
