I have a 97 Civic DX Coupe and its starting to not want to move. Sometimes it runs fin but others its not wanting to go. It started about a week ago with the car feeling like it was hesitating and its getting worse. With the car in drive and stopped, i take my foot off the brake and it doesnt move like its in neutral. Also from a dead stop and pressing the gas it moves a bit but has to get to 5k, shift really hard, then it will go but it still feels like it doesnt. Also when I am on the freeway, 65-70 mph, and i let my foot off the brake it feels like it wants to slowing down way to fast. I use to be able to do that and slow down slowly but now its almost like im hitting the brake a little. Its had the wires, plugs, cap, and rotor changed in the past 6months along with the oil and draining and replacing what comes out of the transmission bolt hole in april or may. Im gonna change the oil again in September. Im just wondering if this sounds like the transmission is going to give. I didnt want to put a lot of money into this car because i want to sell it in FEB but if i have to ill do the AT to MT swap and just sell the car to my brother in FEB.


Edit: Drove it last night after i wrote this and today in the morning and it ran fine. Im wondering if it only happens when its hot

 

Sounds like the transmission already gave.

 

When i say give i mean like the car no longer moves but that sucks
