Our builds are pretty similar. Especially if you end up getting the Wolverine, is that what you want the most? You said youll be on 2 tunes correct? Pump and c16?

Yes, I am almost positive that I will be getting the Wolverine from Mac. Yes, I will be using two tunes. One on 93 and another on C16 sir. As I stated in your thread sir, I am just waiting to get my head back from the machine shop so that I can get her up and running.

I have a GO-AUTOWORKS 68mm throttle body and of course the Victor X opening is only 65mm, what is the best method/process to port match them?

Anyone? I have searched and I have watched the Skunk2 video on how to port match but I just want to make sure that I will be doing it right. I talked to my guy at the machine shop and he stated that when port matching the throttle body to the intake manifold the intake manifold opening should be tapered. Is this true? I do not want to cause any turbulence. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance H-T.

I think as long as the inlet manifold hole is bigger (or the same size) as the throttle body exit you'll be fine. Its only when the flow of air hits a "step" it caused turbulence with things like this. As for porting it, i'd just make a trace and mark off what needs to be taken off then remove it with a dremel or what ever you have.

Thanks Rich, that is exactly what the Skunk2 video says to do.

Why not use your transmission bolts? That with the nut from the front fork off your suspension works perfect

What are your hp goals? The 4.7 final is going to hurt you.

400whp on 93 and 550whp on c16. At 8500rpm my 98 spec JDM Type R tranny will top out at 164mph in 5th gear with a 24.5inch tire. That is plenty in the MPH department for me.

I am not trying to be a smart donkey but why not? The 98 spec JDM Type R tranny will still accelerate faster than any other stock B Series tranny even though if I have to shift into 5th gear.

I have a spoon 4.69 final drive in my ek9 gearbox and i love it. I don't get this whole "the longer the gear the better " thing. Isn't it more personally preference and application??

Yes it is sir but why would you want less acceleration? Don't we modify our cars to go faster/quicker? If you have a good traction control system(your brain and your right foot, haha) you will be perfectly fine. I mean if your tires are spinning wouldn't it make sense to ease off the throttle?
