Default 1991 civic no crank

Hi i was doing a tune up and valve cover gasket. I only changed the plugs though no wires. Afterwards no crank at all but all assecories have power. I checked battery 12and volts. Then 12v. At the starter power wire. And the at the solenoid wire i get .5 volts but when push the clutch in try to start it gets 12v. So i figured starter i replaced it today and no go. This just has me baffled. Any help is appreciated.

Iam guessing if i get power at starter and no start maybe bad starter? Or would the be a bad ground even though i get good volt at starter.

Did you accidentally unplug a ground wire from somewhere?
