RC750 to ID725 injectors, what's needed?
I would like to change my RC 750 (RCEN PL4-0750H) to some ID 725. The engine is a B18C1, I have a stock fuel rail and the injectors clips that I use now are made to fit the RC750. What would I have to change if I want to change injectors? Thanks for your help!
I believe ID injectors run at a much higher base fuel pressure, so you would need a fuel pump that move sufficient volume at whatever that pressure may be.
fuel atomization is critical for combustion efficiency. The issue is your car will need to be retuned with the new injectors.
ok no problem there. I need to know if the RC injector clips is the same as the ID? I have a resistor box now so do I have to remove it and go back to stock?
I'm almost sure the clips are different. The resistor box will need to be removed.
You can post up a picture of the injectors and clips to know for sure.

ID injectors are nothing more than the new bosch injectors... i dont know why everyone thinks they are ID... they just market and sell them. and yes they run higher base pressures, most new bosch apps are at 60psi base pressure... but thats mostly non return fuel systems. you can run them at any base pressure... but the advertised flow ratings wont be quite right... they'll be a little lower.
and since the injectors are smaller, if you stay at the same base or adjust it, you'll need to retune your fuel map
