it takes the same stuff to do any swap.the single cam will just be an easier motor to work on...

the most success me and my friends have had with a swap was a b16 turbo in an egthat **** does work lol.

my favorite(and would love to have one)is the b18a in the ef.and i say b18a because it has a little more torque..

JuicedUpRice's statement about it taking the same stuff to do any swap and the single cam just being easier to work on is....I don't even know what to say but if you want to believe him feel free.

ok,sorry,i didnt think about all the technical builds..i was only thinking stock motor swaps.

the only swap ive done required
wiring harness, ecu, shift linkage, motor mounts and that was for to put a b16 in an eg..

maybe should have held my tongue until someone more in tune on swaps stepped in..

Why don't you do yourself a favor and do the MPFI swap right now. It is something you'll need to do before any swap anyways. More power, very cheap to do and helps you out in the long run.

If you have a d16 already you can just do a mini-me swap, where you just put a v-tec head on your block and get a vtec ecu.

d15 and d16 accept the same heads, with exception of the dohc zc.

The mini-me swap is the concept that the d16a6 (non-vtec) block has a strong bottom, and it just needs the vtec head. I am not really sure the d15 with vtec is a desirable setup. It would be the cheapest route.

Most of the series (b/d/f/k/h) have interchangeable parts. Also there are kits for pairing the series together. There are h to b conversions where you pair a H block with a b trans. Additionally, I have seen a F with a K transmission.

For B-swap:

https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-crx-ef-civic-1988-1991-3/detailed-b-series-into-crx-ef-civic-parts-list-more-2769325/

D-Swap = It is mostly all the same. Extremely simple...
