I'm having problems with my ep3!!!!
my ep3 is making a clicking sound i went to auto zone to run it on the computer they said it was miss firing they told me it might be the spark plugs/or wires or the ignition coil
Trending Topics
does the clicking happen while the car is running?tackle the cheap stuff first(basic tune up,plug wires, etc). Then, if that doesn't help, get a multimeter and the car's manual, and make sure everything in your distributor is reading correctly.keep in mind if something reads a little too low,it will only read less when the car is actually putting on a load.
and make sure to check your compression as well

^lol spark plug wires and distributor....Smh.
This is a k series car.
Post the code autozone retrieved so we can begin to narrow things down. To begin for example if you have a misfire on cyl #1 swap coil #1 with cyl #4 coil. If 4cyl them begin to mid you know its the coil. Same thing for injectors you can swap injectors. Spark plugs. Diagnose don't throw parts at it and guess.

you don't have wires....
Was the code P0302 probably...
Anyways change the spark plugs. And if you know it's cylinder 2 for sure if you want a cheap way of testing the coil swap it with another cylinder, go back to autozone, and see if the misfire code has jumped to another cylinder (whichever you swapped the coil from)

have you done anything to try and fix this? do what spaz said and come back.
i've had a recurring cylinder 3 misfire for a few months now. i've tried new plugs and switching around coils and it still pops up. the engine runs fine and i'm not seeing any differences in datalogs so i just ignore it when it comes up.
