Default Turbo budget

Wass good ya'll, Im new to this turbo game but very interested in turbo'ing my car. i drive a 97 integra ls with 170k daily. My goal is to hit around 250whp on on low and around 350 on high boost. I don't know if i should rebuild the motor or i could just upgrade some internals. things i'am planing to upgrades are the pistons, rods, cams, cam gears with lsd gsr tranny. My budget is around 2500 not including the tranny. But i'll have some backup money in case things come up. sorry for being such a noob. Any advice would be much appreciated! thanks

High boost doesn't mean a damn thing!!! You need to set a power goal and spend some time reading the FI section! 300 is about the max you can safely push a stock b series.
You need to do a compression test on your motor to see if it is capable of boost. Of coarse there are 1,000 threads going over all this

Read the FAQ at the top of the page. It has a wealth of good information for someone new to turbo setups. Furthermore, stay the hell away from Ebay parts...they just invite problems

You're not getting into the REAL turbo game for $1,500. Not even a foot in the door. At least half of that budget is EMS and tune.

That's because they don't exist. If you want to buy a kit, expect at least $2k just for the air side of the equation: http://www.go-autoworks-store.com/gocotuki.html

Then expect another $1500 for the fuel/tune side of it.
