Default Exhaust nut stripped and won't come off

Hey guys. I'm here try to prepare my car for an engine removal. When I got to the part which tells me to remove the exhaust, I encountered something bewildering.
After trying to get the one of the 3 nuts off, the first one I tried stripped. This was after I used pb blaster and heat from a candle to make it budge.

I tried vice grips but they only stripped too.

Its kind of difficult to work where it is because it is directly connected to the cat.

I need help fast.

Thanks.

Any room to get one of these in there?

Get it red hot and try. Or hammer a smaller socket on.
Can you get it with a grinder or drill the bolt out of the nut

Sears, lowes, etc has a socket that has teeth in it and becomes tighter and tighter the more it is turned so it doesn't matter if the bolt head is stripped or not.

The bolts for my exhaust/cat did the same thing. If you ever plan on removing them after replacement get some grade 10 ones.

Weld a nut to it. Use that nut to remove it.

I believe a bolt-out is what you are referring to..

I have a set like this from Sears and have used it a few times on stripped nuts/bolts and have had good success with them.

Of course this only works if they have access to a welder.
