Rusted exhaust maanifold nuts stuck

Default Rusted exhaust maanifold nuts stuck

I can't get 2 exhaust mani nuts off. Any tips?

can you be a little more specific with you question.....did the nut rounded out or you just can get to it ??

Sorry, the nuts are rounded now and pretty rusted.

PB BLASTER leave it on as long as your patience can possibly take, and did you strip them trying to get them off?

well you got you self a mission, but not impossible
get a bolt extractor socket at pep boys and some wd40 but when you spray wd40 make sure you wipe of from the bolt head

sounds like fun!! i use pb blaster and wd40 together **** seems to eat up anything..

Thanks for the advice! Can I jut cut a slot in the stud and use a screwdriver to take out the stud and the nut?

might work but probably not. just go to wal-mart buy some vice grips and tighten down the vice grips with another pair of vice grip and thats what worked for me.

heating the nut always helps. avoid WD40 its just expensive fish oil, good however but expensive but id say PB Blaster is better
