Was fine 2 weeks ago, tried to start it for first time today and got these strange sounds and electrical problems, one is coming from near glovebox, not ecu or fuse box, and the other seems to come from the turn signal speaker. Headlights wont come on and when I turn them on the sounds go away. Had to disconnect battery to get the sounds to stop, persist even with key out. Fuel pump prime also sounds wrong.
I removed a stereo wire going to the battery 2 weeks ago also-

Yes the slow wipers give me clues to battery, but when I let my car sit for 6 months it was fine so when I came back after 2 weeks I didnt think it would be battery, but maybe relay.

There was a ground wire connected to the battery positive and ending on the trunk floor, that is the last thing I removed before I had these problems. I assume whoever had the car before me put this for some reason. Battery is reading 12.6 volts which is good?

Like kyden said it could be a **** battery causing this. Just because it has 12v or so doesn't mean it's ok. You need to check the voltage under load.

Bad grounds can cause funny problems too. Try cleaning up the contact points of the 3 main grounds under the hood (battery to body, trans to body and the ECU ground at the thermostat).
It's not a ground and it wouldn't be found in the engine bay of a CX/DX anyway.
It can't be a ground if it's connected to the positive + terminal. It might have been a power supply for a sound system.
