Default A/C problem

I have a '95 Civic w/ 1.5. I replaced; compressor, dryer, condenser, evaporator and thermal exspansion valve. Pulled vacuum for 45 minutes no leaks 1 hour. Recharged with 1.2 lbs (as per all data), and yet when the ambient tempurture is around 90, it does not blow below 60 (Robinair dial thermometer in vent). Any ideas, it appears the vent doors are closing and heater control valve moves.

Pressure sensor(s)...sounds like that is the only thing you haven't replaced except for oriface tube.

When this happened to me, it turned out to be the relay. Like the main relay, when it gets hot it stops working. Maddening. Swapped mine and it blew cold regardless of tge ambient temp.

Are you referring to the low pressure switch? If not, where would it be located? I don't think there is an orifice tube, I did replace the thermal exspansion valve. Thanks for the reply.

there is no orfice tube on our kind of a/c setup... that is what the expansion valve is for.....

do you know if the compressor is cycling? if its not then id check the low pressure cycle switch for being faulty

When it's ~90F, measure the low and high side pressures and the vent output temp with the A/C on Max and engine idling at 1500 rpm.

Yes, the compressor is running and the clutch is engaged.

At 90 F, idle, full blast recirculating the low is 35, high 200-225 vent temp 60-65.
