Default So my car was stolen and recovered. ??

So my car was stolen at my apartment complex late friday night/sat morning. My car is stock and falling apart. Either way I picked it up today after it was found by the police department 9 miles away from me near a play ground. The ONLY thing wrong/stolen was my back pack. My question is how did he start my car ?? If he would of took it and dropped it back off I would of never noticed, nothing is out of place just a missing back pack.

If its stick shift, he could have just had some one push it and then pop the clutch

if your car didn't have an alarm, he probably just used a shaved down honda key.

under steering column, pull off plastic. 2 screws on side to ignition. Stick 4 head screw driver in, turn to start..

WTF are you doing dude...... maybe you should keep that information to yourself instead of telling people how to steal cars. Think before you speak and in this case type.

Seriously dude chill out. Anyways most likely they used a master key because I know them thieves are not gonna put ur steering column back together the way it was. Did you have any security on it, a clutch lock can sometimes be a life saver 20 bucks at autozon.

As shitty as it is, a worn out honda key will often unlock/start another car that uses the same type of key..... I have started my friends car's several times and opened junkyard car doors with my keys......

Really makes you take a close look at your added security, especially knowing your door locks and ignition locks do very little to deter a thief.

Fuel Cut-off. Takes 30 minutes but saves your car...

It's not rocket science, there's only 2 screws that hold the key cylinder to the ignition harness. Remove the key cylinder and you can start your car with a flat head screwdriver.
