Icon6 94 integra OBD1 automatic Crank position sensor?

Hey everyone. I have a 1994 Acura integra with a B18b1 stock internals, automatic, recently my car lost 5th gear ? (when cold). As soon as it warns up. The light comes on and then it won't rev past 3500rpm and Deff no 5th gear, I was told it was the shift solenoids so I replaced them all. And still no go, then I checked the flash codes and it came up as the (CPS). Crank position sensor, I took apart the timing cover. Didn't see it, checked all over where the tranny meets the block didn't see it? People are saying it is in the timming cover by the crank pulley? Others are saying it is built into the Dizzy? I'm at te end of my rope here and almost regretting buying this car, So if anyone can help me locate it so I know where to start that would be great. Thanks!!!!!

there are three sensors in the dissy

Top Dead Center/ Cylinder Position/ Cam Position Sensor or TDC/CYP/CPS

are all part of the distributor housing and have to be replaced as a Whole

But you can pull the ICM and Coil for spares

it's an automatic tranny you only have 4 gears

1st to 2nd shift point is 16~18 MPH

2nd to 3rd shift point is 25~28 MPH

not sure on 3rd to 4th shift point

there is no 5th gear. 4th is your overdrive. it is possible your torque converter is not locking up. the crank sensor is actually inside the distributor.

what rpm are you getting at 70MPH?

also look at the trans fluid is it Dark or bright red? if it's dark red or grey drain it and refill with Honda ATF drive it about 2~3 miles make sure you hit 4th gear. drain it again and refill this will make sur you get the Most amount of the old AFT out and also if it had Non Honda ATF you want it flushed out as much as you can

does it even have the correct ATF in it?

honda Needs Honda ATF or thay will act Funny i have seen guys use just standard old ATF and had the tranny slip and not shift correctly after flushing the tranny and putting Honda ATF back in all was fine IF the tranny isn't allready toast by then.

But if it was me i would just do a 5-Speed swap and ditch the Auto-spastic.
