I've heard that a LS is better to turbo than a GSR. Is this true? And why?

 

ls has lower compression ration so its good for forced induction. but i personally rather have a gsr turbo.

you want - ls turbo or gsr VTEC TURBO?? ask yourself that.

 

No LS is not better than a GSR motor to boost. It has longer gearing and lower compression, but in a race with equal drivers the GSR will win. But dont get me wrong, an LS motor is awesome to boost. Many people on this board have boosted LS.
