Default 98 Civic radiator fan not working

I have a 98' cjvjc, the cooling fan was not coming on I hooked it up to 12volt source and it came on. I replaced the relay and it worked once and will not come on again. Suggestion?

your engine bay is probably not hot enough for the fan to come on.

How do you know it isn't actually working? Is the car overheating?

Do not do this hack job. Fix it properly so it works properly. I hate hack jobs. Shows a total lack of respect for your car.

You didn't answer. Does the car actually overheat?

Is coolant low in the radiator or reservoir?

Have you bled the cooling system?
=============================

Bleeding the cooling system may take 20-30 minutes.

1) Park the car on an inclined driveway with the front end higher than the rear.

2) Push/turn the dash heater lever/**** to MAX heat. Fan need not be on.

3) Follow the directions in the diagram below
