another member has a white 96-98 ek with the 96-98 fender/headlights with the 99-00 civic bumper. But I cant remember his user name.

 

Well, I guess I am saying that it looks like it fits on there, but he is missing the complete grill assembly. I cant tell if this guy had to trim anything.

 

you dont use a grille and then it'll go on. might have to trim around the headlights too.

 

white 96-98? white was only in 99-00! i converted my front end, though you have to get lights, grill, fenders, and bumper! IT wont work otherwise! The lights are shaped alot differnt, and those pics have the 99-00 lights! see how they kinda teardrop! eric, check my web site for pics of my car!

I like the stock 96-98 bumper just fine

 

so do i, i think its looks nice with just the oem lip. in my opinion its better then the 99+

 

They looked/look like 99 lights, the lights are differnt shape, And how am i wrong, show me some pics of factory usdm 96-98 white ek hatchs! I have done the conversion and i belive it would require alot of hacking to put that bumper on, being fenders, hood, grill, and lights are all differnt! though i assume it could be done! btw hybrid3do0rcx should change your name to hybridfake3do0rcx eric

Ok, since it is so painfully obvious, I will show you, that you are WRONG.

Here is the civic in question.
It is a 96-98 with a 99-00 Bumper and 96-98 headlights, fenders and hood.
Do you see how the grill cutout for the hood is smaller then the grill cut out on the bumper?


Now here is b20bastards 96-98 Civic with the correct front end on it.
See how the headlights are curved the SAME on the end that meets the fenders?


Now here is Mr Yo's! 99-00 EK with the correct front end on it.
Notice how the headlights are more straight/verticle where they meet the fenders?


It doesnt matter if the car in question is white. He painted it. Woopty f'ing do.
people paint their 96-98 eks all the time.
