whenever you widen the tire, you decrease the profile by five.
195/55 to 205/50. same thing if you increase the wheel size.
205/50/15 to 205/45/16 to 205/40/17 and so on.

Re: 205/60/15's on an 99 si wheel? (krazn)
I'm up in northeat philly krzan, how bout you?
Thanks for the quick replys.
My cars dropped 1.75 in the front and 1.5 in the back and i was afraid a 195-60-15 will rub. I would go with a 195-50-15 but am afraid that the back will be too low and scrap everytime i come out of a parking lot cause it already does with the stock 195-55-15's. So what size 205's should i get with the dropped car that wont be too big that it'll rub but not too short that i'll scrap. Sorry for all the ?'s but i need to get new tires soon cause the stock michelins suck.

Yep! 205/50/15 on my Si wheels.
You should be fine....I've got a 2 inch drop and I have no problems rubbing at all.
